Inspired by deep seas, an oceanic breeze, an dthe traditional portuguese sidewalks from my hometown, these socks come in Small (Medium, Large) - for a circumference of 8-9” (9-10”, 10-11”) - , are designed with heel flap, turn and gusset, and are knit top down using your preferred method for knitting in the round. This simple design is ideal for a knitter with little experience in sock knitting and colorwork.

Supplies list:

Yarn: I am using Retrosaria Mondim however any other sock yarn appropriate for colorwork is an option. 50g/210y/192m of each color should be sufficient depending on the length of the foot of the sock.
Needles: US1/2.25mm & US0/2mm, or whatever is necessary to achieve gauge.
Notions: st markers, row markers, scissors, tapestry needle
Gauge: In the round, in stockinette, with smaller needle it is 24sts & 35 rows for 10cm/4”. Once you have selected your smaller size needle based on the gauge, use one needle size smaller to knit the cuff.
