Posey is a main strategy in our fundraising efforts for our sons heart surgeries, because of this I ask that you honour my request to not sell an Posey dolls till after Jan 1st 2014. After that you may make your Posey dolls to sell. Also to keep things fair please price Posey at $45 or more, don’t undersell yourself!!!
Posey will take anywhere from 6-10 hours to make.
You will need one large ball of Yarn (250yards or bigger) in a worsted weight. (I used red heart worsted weight (4) for my Poesy’s)
Hook 6mm
Wire one piece 12” long, 14” long and 22” long. I use common Alumax Electrical wire, 14-2R sleeved wire with a ground.
Row markers (I use a long piece of yarn in a different colour)
Gage should be 8st x 8 rows = a 2 inch square. Use bigger or smaller hook to accomplish this.
Posey is made using a spiral you will NOT join the rows, because of this your stitch marker will move around on the pieces, sometimes jumping to the right or left by a few inches, this is normal.
