The Post + Beam is a classic hat pattern knit with 2 strands of Quince & Co. Osprey held together. It’s inspired by the traditional post-and-beam heavy timber construction of many quintessential farm barns. The Post + Beam is a real workhorse- the sort of hat that prizes function, durability, and efficiency just as much as it does clean and beautiful lines. The pattern also gives the knitter tools to customize each hat they knit, making no two Post + Beams the same unless desired. Post + Beam comes together easily, giving every knitter from beginner to advanced a satisfyingly quick and squishy knit.
