Pattern notes are included in written pattern.

Sizes of the heat pads vary depending on the type of yarn you use.

I recommend using “Worsted Weight Category 4 - Red Heart Super Saver” yarn, however, any yarn will work for this pattern as long as you use a yarn that you can use H (5.00mm) hook with.

If you want to make the heat pads for decorative purposes only, any type of yarn will work just fine. If you plan on making the heat pads and using them for their intended purpose (ie. setting hot pots & pans on them), then use the RHSS yarn or a cotton-based yarn in the appropriate weight to use an H-hook with.
