I love creating art. I love upscaling items of things used for a totally different purpose. There are times my creative mind goes on a small vacation and when its back it works on an overdrive.
Back in my hometown (India) we were just driving through and I saw a lot of hardware stores. They sold just basic stuff like coconut rope, thread, jute and cotton rope etc. the moment I saw this my mind worked on an overdrive.
Well I got some coconut rope and very basic cotton thread. Back in India this thread is used tying objects and boxes.
So I used just basic things and upscaled them to a pot basket.
Now I used coconut rope and cotton thread but if you want to use different material like jute rope and jute to crochet then you can.
These baskets use just one stitch for the entire pattern .
