I designed this bear because I love teddies.
You can either sew the limbs on so that they are fixed in position or so they are moveable. The bear will end up about 8” tall.

Please note that I use English crochet terms.

You will also need a darning needle and some stuffing for this.

Having made the bear with some leftover DK yarn I looked at some oddments of chunky, 4 ply and #20 crochet cotton and thought “why not?” The fine cotton was the biggest challenge as it makes up to a mere 3” high. However the 4 ply makes a bear about 6” high and the chunky comes out at about 9” high.
