This shawl was inspired by a skein of precious lace yarn and a left-over from deep stash. It reminded me of pot luck parties where everyone brings a dish and together you have a one-of-a kind meal.

“Pot Luck” is an easy to work Tunisian crochet shawl. The main component is Tunisian simple stitch. This “blank canvas” invites you to use a non-solid colored yarn. Then we add some sprinkles by working Tunisian reverse rows in one or more contrasting colors. This is also a great opportunity to use left-overs or minis!

Increases at the top edge shift the fabric to the bias with minimal effort. This shawl can be worked with lace weight to fingering weight yarn. You could even mix those yarn weights to use left-overs!
