This pattern has been rated “intermediate” meaning it is suitable for those already familiar with amigurumi and a good knowledge of crocheting basics and techniques. In addition to basic crochet stitches the pattern assumes you have knowledge of working in the round, increasing and decreasing stitches and working through front loop or back loop only. All of these techniques can be easily learnt through free online tutorials if you are not familiar with them.

Finished product size is approximately 15cm wide and 22cm tall when crocheted using a 3mm hook and using cotton 8ply/DK yarn.

Stitches include: magic ring, chain, single crochet. increase, decrease, slip stitch, bobble stitch (instructions provided)

Materials needed: cotton yarn of 80g in 8 ply for main dog/pot colour, and smaller amounts of the colours for the dog face, ears, tongue, plant and soil. Also a crochet hook, toy stuffing, yarn needle to sew in ends, plus stitch markers if desired.
