These bright, contemporary potholder would be fun in your kitchen or as a cute hostess, housewarming or shower gift. The wood rings make them easy to hang and add to the modern look. They can also be used as coasters.

The pattern calls for readily available Lily Sugar n Cream cotton yarn but you can substitute any worsted weight cotton or even wool, though the wool will felt when washed.

The potholders in the photo are about 6 1/2 inches square but I include instructions for changing the size.

Its not a difficult pattern, appropriate for an intermediate crocheter or an adventurous beginner.
