Potter Sock is a decorative cabled sock, that looks a lot more difficult than it really is. It’s worked cuff down with a double knitted heel flap. You can use a hand-dyed yarn, that isn’t too busy and still see the pattern.

SIZES
1 (2) 3

Ankle circumference:
1 - 18 cm
2 - 20 cm
3 - 23 cm

Measure the smallest part of your ankle. The sock is meant to have a negative ease of 2-4 cm. So if your ankle is 21 cm, you should knit size 1 with a 18 cm circumference. If you are between sizes, then pick the smaller of the two.
The length is worked to fit your foot.

NEEDLES & GAUGE
DPNs or magic loop size 2,5 mm/ US 1,5.

32x36m = 10cm in Stockinette Stitch on 2,5 mm needles/ US 1,5, or whatever size you need to get gauge.

YARDAGE/METERAGE
70-80g Merino Sock from Knit by Moltrup (425m/100g). You can use a contrasting yarn for the cuff, heel or toe as you wish.
