Poulsen is a child’s sweater.

This sweater/pullover is worked from the bottom edge and up with a 2-color pattern at the bottom of the body and sleeves. The sweater has a raglan yoke, long sleeves and traditional rib edges. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (stockinette stitch) i.e. a yardage of approximate 90 meters per 50 grams. Pictured in Peer Gynt from Sandnes.

The pattern includes directions for knitting a size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years with chest width 73 (77, 83, 90, 97, 107) centimeters and a length of 43 (46, 51, 54, 57, 61) centimeters.

This pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is familiar with 2-color stranded knitting, a knitter who is able to follow written instructions, follow charts and work increases, decreases and pick up stitches.

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.
