Worthy of Note
The Powelton Cardigan is a nod to iconic knitwear from the silver screen and a timeless brand from the Pacific Northwest.

The cardigan is worked in the round from the bottom up and steeked open for finishing. An optional tubular cast on is used at the hem and cuffs and the body and sleeves are worked from charts.

The sleeves are worked in the round separately and joined to the body to work the yoke. Rustic buttons complete this ruggedly handsome knit.

Slipped selvedge stitch maintained throughout button band. The button band stitches are held after the bottom ribbing is complete, and the button bands are worked after the body is finished and steeked open. The button band and shawl collar are attached as worked and the shawl collar is joined using a three needle bind off at the back neck.
