These socks are inspired by the cobblestone pavements in Prague. This is the second pattern of „pavement collection“. This one is near my house and I see it every day :-)
This is a stranded colour work pattern and assumes at least a basic knowledge of stranded colour work knitting.

These socks are knitted cuff down and have a Strong heel (developed by Gerdine Crawford-Strong and first appeared in Knitter’s Magazine, Fall 2003). The pattern includes charts for the Leg and Foot pattern and Gusset increases and written instructions for the cuff, heel turn, and toe.

Sizes: S, M, L (66, 70, 74 stitches)

Materials: Fingering weight sock yarn for size M, app. – 250 meters in total
Filcolana Arwetta: Blue 144 Blue Ultramarine: 0.7 skeins = 161.0 yards (147.2 meters), 35 grams – Main colour
Filcolana Arwetta: Blue 199 Blue Atol: 0.72 skeins = 165.6 yards (151.4 meters), 36 grams – Contrast colour (brighter)

Needles
2,25 (US size 1) circular needles (for using magic loop)

Gauge
8,5 stitches per inch (2,5 cm) and 9 rows per inch (2,5cm) in stranded colour work in the round
Feel free to use larger/smaller needles and thinner/thicker fingering weight yarn to adjust the gauge and size of the socks
This pattern was not tested (knitted only by me in size M so far ). Comments, reports of mistakes in written instructions are welcome.
