The tall grasses sway and move with the gentlest of Prairie Breezes. The cowl’s cable stitch pattern links together, then sways apart, joins together again and continues the journey in another direction. The stitch is interesting, but not complicated. The cowl features a deep front to keep you warm yet maintains a narrower depth at the back of the neck so there isn’t so much bulk in your coat. It is all wrapped up with neat purl ridge edgings. Prairie Breezes features Bare Naked Wools Better Breakfast DK, a lofty yarn that creates crisp stitches and soft next-to-skin warmth. The cowl is designed DK weight yarn. The pattern has both written and charted instructions.

Complete the set with the Prairie Breezes Hat or Prairie Breezes Mittens.
