Yarn

  • Pattern uses five colors in worsted weight yarn.
  • Sample was created in 100% superwash merino using the following colorways: C1: Bad Sheep Yarn—Honeyed Brie C2: Dream in Color—Shiny Moss C3: Bad Sheep Yarn—Calico Prairie C4: Malabrigo—Frank Ochre C5: Bad Sheep Yarn—Chocolate
  • 55g are required for each triangle (44g for each base color and 11g for the contrasting “embroidery” color).
  • Sample was made using C3 (Calico Prairie) as the contrast color for each triangle except for the C3 triangle, where C1 (Honeyed Brie) was used for contrast.
  • Use the same contrast color throughout or mix and match in a different way.

Gauge & Size

  • Gauge is not important for this pattern.
  • Finished size of sample (blocked twice—see Finishing instructions): 81” x 13”

Needles

  • US Size 9 (5.5 mm)
  • Use a circular needle with at least a 22” cable.
  • If working in a different weight yarn, adjust needle size accordingly.

Notions

  • Yarn needle (for weaving in ends)
  • Four stitch markers

  • This scarf is worked in pieces and then seamed.
  • You may order the colors however you prefer during assembly.
  • Use a coordinating color or contrast color for joining depending upon the join method you choose.
