Choose the DK weight yarn that YOU love for this project!

This cowl and fingerless mitts set is a fun and quick project to knit. The Latvian Braids give eye-catching detail and interest to this pattern, and the texture of the tulle stitch stripe is fun to work up. You can also choose between ending with an icord bind-off, or adding a 3x1 rib (both are written in the pattern).

Gauge is not crucial to the pattern.
If you know how to knit, purl, and slip a stitch, the pattern will detail how to do the rest.

Yarn for the Cowl:
2 contrasting colours of DK weight yarn, approximately 255yds (235m) altogether.

  • Main colour: 175yds (150m)
  • Contrast colour: 80yds (75m)

Needles & Notions:
3.25 (US 3) needles - circulars: 22”/55cm
3.5 (US 4) for a looser bindoff (also for the mitts pattern)
2-3 Stitch Markers
