This sweater is the grown-up companion to the Prancing Queen (Kids) sweater. Construction is the same, with the body knit in the round and sleeves joined at the yoke. The top is worked in sections of color work charts and decrease rounds, ending with a ribbed neckline. There is no bust or waist shaping, so the finished bust size will be the size throughout the body. This is meant to be a slightly fitted top with approximately 0-2 inches of positive ease, but can be worn with more or less based on your preference. The main color is used for the body and sleeves, the main yoke color is the background for the entire yoke, and the contrast yoke color is used for the unicorn and heart color work.

Note on sizing: The sleeve length and torso length can be adjusted for a custom fit. The upper arm cannot be, as that will impact the pattern repeats above.

Gauge: appx 24 st x 32st = 4 x 4 inch square in stockinette with size US size 4 (3.5mm) needles

Note on gauge: Your colorwork gauge may be tighter than your single color gauge; please check and adjust needle sizes if needed. The easiest solution is often to go up a needle size during your colorwork sections.
