Welcome to Read Street!

I design playful, imaginative patterns for all ages.

Most of what I do is inspired by my daughters, art, literature, and music that I love. I grew up in Kansas, but moved to the East Coast where I studied philosophy and (later psychology), met my husband, became a mom, and had some amazing adventures. That’s also where I turned my knitting hobby into a design business- right there on Read Street.

Now I’m back in the Midwest, but Baltimore still has a giant, rat-shaped piece of my heart.

When I’m not knitting, I’m doing yoga, baking vegan treats, watching Goodfellas, or telling my kids to put their shoes on for the 596th time.
