Introducing Precious Cargo – a delicate lace pullover perfect for summer nights and fall days. Worked overall in the (new to me, now a favorite) Lacy V-stitch, a delightful 9 stitch x 6 row repeat, its borders are trimmed with wide ribbing – knits and purls in complimentary rhythm. This design is worked bottom-up and in-the-round to the start of its deep v-neckline where the bodice splits and the piece is worked flat. The bodice splits again at the start of the armholes, and front and back panels are worked separately. Half-length sleeves, extending just below the elbow, are worked bottom-up and in-the-round as well, with short rows at their cap for smooth shaping. This design is seamless, except for the sleeve caps that are set in. Enjoy!
