This easy beginner friendly unisex preemie cardigan was designed specifically for the first Preemie Crochet Challenge that we hosted in August 2020! Free pattern is on our website.

It is suitable for babies born from about 29 weeks of gestation. The arms are left quite wide to be able to accommodate any tubes that may need to be attached to baby but they are not too big that drafts will give baby a chill. There is one button at the top if there cardigan to hold it closed, but the button hole is not necessary or you can add more.

At Sunflower Cottage Crochet, we hire experienced crochet artisans to test our patterns for accuracy and readability. Our crochet pattern will teach you how to create the pefect gift for any occasion. The Highland Neamh Wrap will make a great christmas gift for her, keeping her warm and providing a hood for added coverage.

The cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece so there is no seams. Arms are worked afterwards.
