Hello, this is my new Preemie Octo Pattern! ❤️
This pattern is perfect for making a special gift for a preemie baby and or even any baby or child! For babies they are especially comforting since the curls work as a comfort tool. They resemble an umbilical cord and they like to hold onto them.
For this Octo I used a 4 weight yarn and a 3.25mm clover hook but you could use any yarn as long as you use the correct hook size so that your octo does not have holes. (We don’t want little fingers getting through❤️) Also if you are making this for a baby you should use a soft yarn. I also highly suggest embroidering the face for babies since even though safety eyes are called safety eyes they are still a choking hazard for babies. So for a baby please embroider. ❤️ Also for this pattern I tried to make it with as little sewing as possible so there is only 1 part that needs to be sewn on then just ends to weave in. I also suggest reading through the whole pattern first before moving forward with the pattern. I made this Octo with less then 200yards. If you have any questions please feel free to msg me here on ravelry or join my fb group to have direct contact with me. (Link is posted here for my fb group. My fb group is called Crochet For Love!)
Well I do hope you enjoy my pattern and have fun making some Preemie Octo’s! ☺️❤️
P.S. This design is my own please do not distribute it without my permission and or try to claim the pattern as your own. Thank you for respecting designers! ❤️❤️❤️
