This piece is designed to fit inside of a purse to add pockets to the open area of the bag.

This can be easily modified to suit the length and depth of your host bag.

There is no gauge required for this piece, but I do think the tighter your stitches the better chances that your bag will not stretch out of shape during laundering or under the stress of the contents you choose to carry in it.

You’ll need to know how to do some simple sewing stitches or you can use your crochet hook to weave in ends and create pockets on the original piece.
