This is the pattern to make my Pretty-Easy Mug Rug! This is a friendly beginner pattern since it is very easy to make! So if your new to crochet then you should have no problem with this pattern as long as you know the basic stitches of crocheting!
My Pretty-Easy Mug Rug is the perfect size for mugs, glasses or even thermos’s! When made with the same yarn and the same hook size, the rug turns out to be about 3.5” by 4.5” (not including the tassels). You will need at least 1 50g ball of Bernat Handicrafter cotton (which is a med 4 weight) & if you want to make it like mine you will need a bit more yarn of a different colour. (I had yarn to spare too so it won’t use up the whole 50grams, maybe half a ball for the main colour if that) This is made using a H/5mm hook.
So, have fun making your own Pretty-Easy Mug Rug! Enjoy!
