I designed this pattern for a Skacel contest using HiKoo Simpliworsted at the 2011 Men’s West Coast Fall Knitting Retreat. To make this for a child, go down a needle size and knit 4 and 1/2 to 5 inches from the cast on edge before starting the decrease round.
