Hands up who wants a pretty and stylish pair of mitts that are easy to make and easy to wear! These mitts will brighten up any outfit and turn heads. Dress your hands in these Victorian style fingerless mitts and feel special. The mitts have a frill at the cuff and picot edging at the top and are worked from the bottom up.
They are knitted in one piece in the round and take only 40g of 4 ply sock yarn to make. A great project for all those single skeins you could not resist and still have in your stash. Each pair was made with two 20g skeins of Mothy and the Squid merino blend sock yarn. They are made in two sizes adult, which will fit most hands due to the stretchy knit and a smaller size suitable for those with small hands and older children.
