SMALL BALL:
Clark’s O.N.T.—15 balls of White or Ecru, or 22 balls of variegated or solid color.

J. & P. Coats —11 balls of White or Ecru, or 15 balls of variegated or solid color.

BIG BALL:
Clark’s O.N.T.—6 balls of White or Ecru.
OR
J. & P. Coats —6 balls of White or Ecru, or 8 balls of variegated or solid color.

MILWARD’S STEEL CROCHET HOOK No. 4 or 5.
Crinoline shoulder pads.

GAUGE AFTER BLOCKING: 9 sps make 2 inches; 6 rows make 1 inch. To test your gauge, first work up a swatch 9 sps wide and 12 rows deep. Swatch should block to 2” square. If it does not, use finer or coarser hook, as necessary.
