Dotty the Duck is part of my Pretzal headz Amigurumi patterns.

All my Pretzal headz patterns are made using a unique head to body joining method.

This stops the wobbly head that many find an issue with their amigurumi work.

They are worked from the head down, with the limbs easily attached/sewn on after the body is made and stuffed.

This pattern is written in US terms and gives step by step instructions to each level of the pattern, along with a stitch abbreviation guide.

You will need a 2.5mm crochet hook and one ball of off white in drops love you cotton yarn. as well as a small amount of mustard.

Images are provided when required to prompt and help you to understand a more challenging aspect of the pattern.

Dotty is worked up really quickly and in one piece, with only the feet to sew on after stuffing. There is one small image to show you how the tail will look when you start working in rows.

The final duck, perches over a shelf neatly due to her flat tummy, her head and beak dip down in a cute quirky pose.

Her length from head to tail is approx 23cm

Please feel free to use any yarn you prefer when making your Amigurumi.

I prefer to use cotton yarn to give the creation a better shape in the long term, as DK can tend to stretch and warp.
