This is a simple textured washcloth (dishcloth) made using a combination of knits and purls. The prickly pear cactus is depicted growing in a pot.

I had to look up what the “paddle cactus” was actually called, despite having heard the name “prickly pear” I had never put the name to a plant.

This is one of multiple cactus washcloths I’ve designed and could also be attached to the others to create a blanket.

The pattern is free on my website, or you can get a printable version on the website for $2.
