The name for this shawl just kind of came to me when I finished it. I looked at it and felt so much pride and joy. It brought me immediate happiness.

Shape:
Asymmetrical triangle done in garter stitch with an unmirrored eyelet lace section

Materials:
US size 7 (4.5mm) circular knitting needles, approximately 60cm long
stitch markers
tapestry needle

Yarn:
Two skeins of fingering weight yarn - The sample was knit in “Beach Glass” and “Eggplant” (both discontinued) from Allison Barnes Yarn on her Basic Sock base (80% SW Merino, 20% Nylon - 115 grams, 420 yards) and her Bamboo Sock base (discontinued)

Gauge:
20sts and 22 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch, blocked

Yardage Requirements:
Approximately 335y of the Main Colour and 204y of the Contrast Colour for a total of 539 yards. Please note, I have added 5% to account for a small variance in tension.

Measurements:
84.5 inches across and 24 inches deep at its longest points after blocking

This pattern is knit in one piece working from the center and growing outward toward the ends. I worked this pattern using a 60cm cable but you can use a longer/shorter cable if you prefer. Note: If you use too small of a cable, your stitches will bunch a lot on the needles, making it harder to knit.

This pattern may not be redistributed or copied in any way. Finished items may be sold, I just ask that you give credit to my shop for the pattern. Due to the nature of patterns, this pattern may not be returned or exchanged. All sales are final.

Happy knitting!
