5 mm crochet hook
Darning needle
Scissors
purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red and white yarn

I would suggest not getting purple or red yarn that is too dark

Finished size: 4 ½ in x 5 in

Rw 1. Ch 18 with yarn
Rw 2. Sc in 2nd ch from hook
Rw 3. Sc in ea st (16 sts), ch 1, turn work
Rw 4. Sc in ea st (17 sts), ch 1, turn work
Rw 5. Sc in ea st (16 sts), change color to on the last sc, ch 1, turn work
Rw 6. Sc in ea st (17 sts), ch 1, turn work
Rw 7. Rep row 6
Rw 8. Sc 16, change color to on the last sc, ch 1, turn work
Rw 9. Sc in ea st (17 sts), ch 1, turn work
Rw 10. Rep row 9
Rw 11. Sc 16, change color to on the last sc, ch 1, turn work
Rw 12. Sc in ea st (17 sts), ch 1, turn work
Rw 13. Rep row 10
Rw 14. Sc 16, change color to on the last sc, ch 1, turn work
Rw 15. Sc in ea st (17 sts), ch 1, turn work
Rw 16. Rep row 15
Rw 17. Sc 16, change color to on the last sc, ch 1, turn work
Rw 18. Sc in ea st (17 sts), ch 1, turn work

Rw 20. Sc in ea st (17 sts), fasten off, weave in ends
Note* each corner should have (sc, ch2, sc)

Attach white yarn to the first purple st on the right.

Rw 1. Ch 1(counts as your first st), Sc 15, (sc, ch 2, sc), Sc 16, (sc, ch 2, sc), Sc 15, (sc, ch 2, sc), Sc 16, (sc, ch2, sl st to first sc), fasten off, weave in end
