New spring growth is light and delicate and I like the idea of a leaf that continues to grow. In Primavera, we begin with a tiny leaf and gradually increase the size of each new leaf.
At the same time, our cape also expands and grows. Note that in the larger version (the light green and pink) I used a thin yarn for the light color (Sannsticks Handfärgard BFL used 70 gr) and a much thicker yarn (Lorna’s Laces Haymarket used 160 gr) for the dark color.

For the smaller version I used one skein each of Araucania Nature Wool. Light color was Tomat 26 and dark color was Choco 19. Tomato and chocolate, who would have thought of that as a delicious combination!
