Samples were created in Fingering, DK, and Worsted weights.

Update: Some knitters have found that they needed three skeins of the main color to complete a full final pattern repeat.

Pattern uses two 100 g skeins of the main color and one skein of the contrast color.

Gauge is not important for this pattern.

Use a needle size that results in the fabric density you prefer. Suggested needle size is 2–3 sizes larger than you would normally use. Personal recommendations for each weight are as follows:
o Worsted: US 10½; 6.5 mm
o DK: US 10; 6 mm
o Fingering: US 6; 4 mm

Use a circular needle with at least a 30” cable (longer is better).

This shawl is worked top down in a crescent shape with rapid increases made at the ends of each row.

The main color repeats consist of a simple eyelet lace.

Finished size of samples (blocked):
o Worsted: 72” wide by 18” deep at center (US 10½; 6.5 mm needles)
o DK 1: 50” wide by 20” deep at center (US 10; 6 mm needles)
o DK 2: 41” wide by 19” deep at center (US 9; 5.5 mm needles)
o Fingering: 40” wide by 18” deep at center (US 6; 4 mm needles)
