This is a boxy cardigan in an allover lace pattern with a V neckline, set in sleeves, deep ribbed edges, and pockets. It is worked in pieces from the bottom up, then sewn together. The button band is picked up along the Front opening.

When shaping the armhole and the Sleeves with increases and decreases, be sure to work the yarn overs in the lace pattern only if you are also able to work the corresponding decrease. If there are not enough stitches to work both the yarn over and the decrease, work these stitches in Stockinette stitch.
