A fun skirt for children from 1-16 years in A-line shape featuring an easy lace motive resulting in a cute wavey pattern.

YARN REQUIREMENTS

• throughout the garment 1 strand of sport weight yarn is used (non-superwash recommended)
• the sample used a blend of 58% cotton/42% polyacrylic with 50g=140m
• required meterage: 260(, 305, 350, 405, 465, 520, 585, 645) m

SIZES
1(, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) for approximate ages 1 year(, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 6 years, 9 years, 12 years, 16 years) (see final measurements for details)

GAUGE (after washing and blocking!)
22 sts x 32 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm (= 4 in x 4 in) in stockinette stitch
24 sts x 26 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm (= 4 in x 4 in) in lace pattern (Chart A)

MATERIAL

• needles: 3,0mm; 2,5mm for bind off
• 1 BOR
• 40cm cable
• elastic band (ca. 2cm wide)

TECHNIQUES

• Regular or German twisted cast on
• elastic bind off
• reading lace charts

FINAL MEASUREMENTS (after washing and blocking!)

• Waist circumference (stretched with elastic band): 48(, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 76) cm
• Length (just below the knees): 25(, 26, 27,5, 29, 31, 34, 38, 42) cm (Length is fully customizable)
