Please mind the gauge: 7 st by 4 rows = 4.5 by 2.5 cm in the main pattern

Materials
• Yarn: 120 m / 131 yd in 100 g, or any velvet / plush yarn of your choice. Mind that the width and the lenght will change if you use different weight yarn!

• It took me about 30 grams of yarn, or approximately 40 m / 43 yd

• Needle size 5 mm. This might seem a little too small, but I wanted sturdier texture

• Other: cable needle; scissors, tapestry needle, a button of your choice. I went a bit over the top with the giraffe, but you can use something more traditional
