★ A little color, a lot of cozy (knit edition)

This fun colorwork triangle cowl is the knit version of my Prism Colorwork Cowl, and it’s free on my blog.

It starts top down in rows, then joins to knit the Fair Isle colorwork section in the round. A great project if you’re ready to try stranded colorwork.

✨ What makes it work

• Top down. Worked flat with increases at three points until the colorwork.
• Colorwork in the round. The Fair Isle section is joined and knit in the round, increasing only at the center point.
• Two ways to follow. Written or chart instructions for the colorwork.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Prism, Mary Maxim (100% acrylic, 290 yds/3.5oz), 1 ball (about 175 yds). Colors shown: Autumn Mist or Rainbow
• Plus: Ultra Mellowspun DK, Mary Maxim (DK, 174 yds/1.75oz), 2 balls (about 275 yds). Colors shown: White or Dark Grey
• Yardage: About 450 yds (412 m) total
• Needles: US 8 (5mm) circular needles
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers · Yarn Needle

• Size: 14” wide at the neck, 19” front length, 24” wide at the bottom
