Warm and cozy, light and airy. You don’t need to be weighed down to beat the chill this winter.

This raglan sweater is knit from the top down, with seamed sleeves and a scoop neck. The colorful stripes are broken up by a garter ridge in grey. Stitches are picked up around the entire sweater, and the same grey garter ridge is worked around.

This pattern is appropriate for an enthusiastic beginner who has some experience following a pattern.

This sweater is designed to be knit with bulky mohair. Substituting yarn of a different fiber content will drastically change not only the look and feel, but also the yardage required to make the garment. Take care when substituting, and be sure to have plenty of yarn!
