Prune’s crocheted fingerless design gives you a snug thumbs-up to earth loving mitts, worked in htr into back loops only for a ribbed effect, using a size 3mm and 4mm hooks in 50 grams of merino DK (or similar weight yarn).
Finished edges are then worked in crab stitch using a contrast colour.

The crochet rows run vertically up and down, rather than horizontally.
