PSP (Play Station Portable) crochet case with small opening that completely covers the PSP!

My lovely boyfriend just got a PSP and asked me to make him a case similar to one he had seen on Reddit. Unfortunately I could not find any pattern anywhere so I somehow figured it out! This is my first written and published pattern so please bear with me!

This case will specifically fit a PSP, it is one size and will stretch to hug the PSP.

Dimensions:

PSP dimensions: 6.7” x 2.9”
PSP crochet case dimensions: 6.7” x 3.5”

Gauge:

2” x 2”: 8 dc x 4 rows of dc

Materials:

I did this in aran weight yarn, specifically the Loops & Threads Skyscape in Chartreuse/Navy Multi. I found that it has a really nice stretch and there are no visible gaps between stitches.

I used a 5.0mm crochet hook
