Inspired by primal, psychedelic patterns, this square contains interesting construction techniques and is such a fun pattern to learn. The finished square is quite big, measuring roughly 22cm /8.6 inches in each side when made with medium weight yarn and 4mm hook.

This square is suitable for more advanced intermediate crocheters, who are familiar with back post stitches along with the most usual stitches. There is also a part of the pattern that creates the “fan” shape between each circle, that has at most 11 loops on the hook at one time, during which you will have to crochet different stitches together in order. There are however plenty of pictures to help you through this pattern. There is also a chart form of the pattern available at the very end.
