Knit and play with “puddles” of lace in this asymmetrical bias-knit shawlette that features striping punctuated 5 times with a short row lace insert section. I knit this in 3 different colors, although you could choose to work it in as many as you would like, even all in one color. Mine was done in fingering weight, but anything from fingering weight to DK would also work. I used a total of about 550 yards of yarn. It worked up to be 5 feet in length, and 16 inches at its widest point. Full written instructions are included in the pattern as well as charts and row counts for the lace inserts.
