The Puddle Shorts is a top-down garment that is worked in the round. It is knit in one main piece, and then the leg holes are created by separating them from the front and back onto scrap pieces of yarn to hold the stitches. The leg hems are worked in the round by picking up stitches that were made and set aside. There is a 9-row repeat to create the stripe throughout the garment. This pattern does not require you to turn in your work and is written
from left to right.
