There is the size chart where you can see how to measure your head and choose your size.

The original yarn is 100% merino wool 500m/100g (547 yds/ 3.52 oz). I used 2.7 mm hook, but you can use 2.5 or 3 mm - it depends of your crochet style. The gauge of puff stitches pattern is 24 stitches * 12 rows in 10 cm (4 inches).

You will need up to 120 g (4.2 oz) - for size M I used 100 g (3.52 oz) of this yarn - about 40 g (1.4 oz) of white yarn and about 60 g (2.12 oz) of grey yarn.

The pattern is easy to understand but you will need a basic knowledge of crochet - it’s made for beginners, but not for a first crochet work.
