Welcome spring 2016 with this short cardigan.

This cute cardi is knitted in pieces. Estonian nupps (Lilly of the valley motive) in combination with plain stockinette, small needles and this gorgeous yarn create a delicate garment.

The two chained buttons add a pinch of traditional cottage style.

The little wing/cap sleeves doesn’t close at the underarm…that keeps it more airy…

Sizes available
(to fit bust measurements) Yarn amount needed:

S 80cm (31,5”) 100g
M 88cm (34 5/8”) 100g

L 106cm (41 3/4”) 150g

XXL 129cm (51”) 250g

You also need:

  • circular needle (80-100cm) size 2,5mm (US 1,5) or size to obtain gauge (best use lace needles…sharp needles make it easier to knit the nupps)
  • dpn’s size 2,5mm (US 1,5)
  • 1 stitch marker
  • 2 buttons that close by a chain
  • tapestry needle
  • some left over yarn

The motive is charted, the pattern is written and a photo tutorial helps you to create the estonian nupps.
