This pullover is for those who enjoy buying decorative and fancy yarn for themselves, and all that to completely forget about it afterwards and then start wondering where it could be applied. This is exactly my case, too, and the Seam Baiano yarn is no exception. I hope you can get yourself a spare piece of that yarn and go create a cute new pullover out of it.

If you don’t have the opportunity to use that particular yarn you can replace it with any other kind of yarn that has thickenings, little bumps, little beads and other possible “yummies” on a string. You can increase the width, or the amount, of the yarn that you have if you add thread of some thin mohair colored in grey, brown, or other neutral colors like that. The most important thing is getting the width of your yarn to the point of easy knitting by needles №8 (US 11) and with the approximate following the 9 sts and 14 rows to 10 cm/4ʺ sample.

Seam Baiano can be replaced by: Hamanaka Sonomono Slub Super Bulky (40g/32m(35 yards), 100% wool) or Drops Air (50g/150 m (154 yards), 7% Wool; 65% Alpaca; 28% Polyamide) double cast.

Materials: 8mm (US 11) and 2,5mm (US 1½) circular needles.

Gauge: 9 sts and 14 rows to 10 cm/4ʺ measured over st st using 8,0 mm (US 11) needles; 26 sts and 38 rows to 10 cm/4ʺ measured over st st using 2,5 mm (US 1½) needles.
