A free version is also available.
The Pumpkin Hat is worked flat in rows using half double crochet stitches through the back loops. After the rectangle is seamed, the green stem closes the top of the hat. An optional curlicue vine can be added beside the stem.
The pattern includes six sizes:
0–3 Months
3–6 Months
6–12 Months
Toddler
Child
Adult
The updated pattern includes finished rectangle measurements, starting chains, stitch counts and total rows for every size.
You can also use another yarn and hook by working your rectangle to the finished measurements.
Yarn: Medium Worsted Weight Yarn 4
Recommended yarns: Red Heart With Love or Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice
Crochet hook: 5.5 mm (I)
Difficulty: Easy
Yardage: Approximately 145–170 yds (133–155 m) total
Construction: Worked flat and seamed
