Small: 2 oz (140 yds, 64 g) orange, 1/2 oz (35 yds, 16 g) green
Gauge: with size G hook, 4 sc = 1”

Large: 3 0z (210 yds, 65 g) orange, 1/2 oz (35 yds, 16 g) green
Gauge: 7 sc = 2”

Pattern calls for working ties separately and sewing them to the seam joinings. I worked the joining from point to brim. At the brim, instead of finishing off, I continued with the instructions for the tie.
