Easy crochet pattern for a small sturdy Pumpkin Pot with a lid to delight the whole family, ideal for Halloween decoration or gift-giving on any occasion. Quick and easy pattern.
These crochet pots with lid are made using small amounts of Fingering (4ply) yarn held together, perfect for your table decoration at Halloween. Easy stitches and simple shaping make these Halloween pumpkins quick and easy to crochet. You’re guaranteed to enjoy making as many of them you can!
Crochet these easy crochet pots in other colours to enjoy all year round to hold jewellery, buttons, beads and notions. These small crochet trinket baskets can also be used as wedding favours.
Materials:
• 2x 25g balls of Catona 4ply (Fingering) by Scheepjes in Col. 281 Tangerine (each ball 62.5m/68yds - 2 strands of yarn held together)
• Size E-4 (3.5mm) crochet hook
• 20” (0.5m) ribbon (½” wide)
• stitch marker
• small button (½” diameter)
• 7” (18cm) leather thong cord (or equivalent)
• sewing needle and thread to match trim
Finished size: 2¾” across x 2¾” high (7cm x 7cm)
(To make larger Pumpkin Pots use thicker yarn and a bigger hook)
The pattern is written in both USA and British UK crochet terms (two separate Pdfs).
These Pumpkin Pots are worked from the bottom up in a continuous spiral using just one stitch, making this pattern a perfect easy project for all skill levels including adventurous beginners.
