The Pumpkin Pouch is a textured drawstring bag worked bottom-up and made using pumpkin bobble stitches. This pattern includes a written and video tutorial for the pumpkins. It is an intermediate crochet pattern. Relevant skills include single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, crocheting in the front or back loop only, making bobbles, increasing and decreasing, and skipping stitches.

Sizes: One size

Height: 18cm or 7 inches

Circumference: 38 cm or 14¾ inches at widest point

Hook size: 5.00 mm or US size H/8

Gauge: 17 sts and 23 rows in single crochet using the above hook size

Yarn: Any weight 4 or worsted weight yarn is suitable. The original sample (in white) was madee using Red Heart Super Saver. You will need 50g of the base color, 15g of the pumpkin color, and 5g of the stem color, but these values may change depending on the yarn and brand that you go with.

Other materials: You will need a tapestry needle and scissors. You may also sew a lining into the bag, but that is optional.
