MATERIALS
• Any medium yarn (number 4), but you can use any yarn of same number/type, otherwise you should adjust either your tension/gauge or needle size, Orange & Brown Colors (I’ve used Red Heart Soft yarn for the pattern shown on the pictures)
• Amount of Yarn:
• - Newborn/Baby: 3oz of Orange Color (153 yards) & 2 oz of Brown Color (102 yards)
• - Toddler/Kid: 4 oz of Orange Color (204 yards) & 3 oz of Brown Color (153 yards)
• - Women’s/Men’s: 5oz of Orange Color (256 yards) & 3.5-4 oz of Brown Color (179-204 yards)
• Size 3 (3.25 mm) US needle or size needed to obtain below gauge;
• Susan Bates Easy-Wrap pom-pom maker (usually comes in 4 sizes) –you’ll need the largest size only, 3 ½ inches (9 cm)
• OR
• Clover POM-POM maker (the largest – 9 cm or 3 ½ inches)
NOTE: both of these kits have step by step instructions on how to make pom – poms – that are easy to follow and great to use.
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
